National Coming Out Day (NCOD) is a day of visibility and recognition for LGBTQ people and their allies. It is a day for students to come out as LGBTQ, but it is also gives an opportunity for staff and students to "come out in support of safer schools."

The GSA encourages people to wear the rainbow ribbon or trans pride ribbon to outwardly show their support for safe spaces- NOT for coming out as an LGBTQ person.

We are looking forward to celebrating this day for our students in the LGBTQ community!
